I completed the Candle Making course, and it has been very beneficial for me. Earlier, I did not have much knowledge about this work, but now I can make candles on my own. We have already started this work at home. Our team consists of about five women, including Seema Ma’am and other members. Together, we prepare candles at the Anganwadi Centre, and during the upcoming festivals, we plan to sell them. This training has given us an opportunity to become self-reliant, and now we are taking it forward as a small business.

I completed a 12-day candle-making course where we were taught to make all kinds of candles—festive Diwali candles, gel/water candles, soy wax candles, and flower-design candles. The course was completely free for us; we did not have to pay anything. This training helped me a lot, and I have now started my own candle-making business. I am thankful to the organizers for this opportunity.
